We respect and value diversity, inside and outside our Organization, as we understand that this rich, plural and diverse vision of who we are allows us to understand and serve all Brazilians.

We ensure that our commitment to diversity and inclusion is reflected in our actions, through the guidelines expressed in our Code of Ethical Conduct, at the Human resources management policy and our specific Policy, as well as through effective governance:

Sustainability and diversity committee

Formed by members of the Executive Board and Board Members, it incorporates the topic in the Organization’s strategic agenda

Affinity groups

Volunteer employees discuss, propose initiatives and give advice on the following topics: Race/Ethnicity, Gender, People with Disabilities and LGBT+

Diversity and inclusion working group

Employees appointed by their dependencies act to strengthen the topic in activities and businesses

Area dedicated to the management of diversity and inclusion

Responsible for ensuring that underrepresented groups in the labor market are more representative in our staff and have equal development opportunities.

Health and quality of life

We seek to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and to provide several tools that enable the balance between their professional and personal lives.

The Viva Bem (Live Well) Program, available since 2012, serves three fronts:

Live well equilibrium

Specific channel for emotional support (Lig Viva Bem).

Live well healthy

Care for physical health (awareness and prevention of diseases, vaccination, periodic exams, etc.). During the Covid-19 pandemic, we made free testing available to employees.

Live well movement

Promotion of well-being and self-esteem through discounts at gyms and beauty salons, sporting events and infrastructure for socializing and exercising, among others.

We believe that by offering our best in favor of the well-being of others through volunteering initiatives, we develop new skills and competencies, besides building relationships.

Thus, we encourage the participation of our employees in voluntary actions related to at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), through the Bradesco Volunteers Program Content available only in Portuguese :

Corporate actions

Are organized by the Program and conducted by employees from all over the country

Tailored actions

Are organized by the different areas of the Organization, with the technical support of the Program

Independent actions

Are organized by the participants themselves and published on the Bradesco Volunteer Portal to disseminate the results and attract new volunteers

Social and rrporate Responsibility

With the purpose of ensuring a healthy work environment for our employees and reinforcing the dialogue and the relationship of trust and respect for the benefit of the collective well-being, we maintain the Corporate social responsibility management program. We provide several channels for reporting possible misconduct and violations of human rights. All reporting is confidential, guaranteeing the complainant’s confidentiality and anonymity. Each record is evaluated and addressed individually, according to the guidelines contained in the Code of Ethical Conduct and on the Organization’s Human Resources Management Policy.

The indicators referring to the Social Responsibility Management System are published annually in our Integrated Report.

Human Rights

Our commitment to human rights is in line with accepted principles around the world, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, besides International Labor Organization (ILO) Conventions, ratified by Brazil and applicable to the Organization.

Our guidelines are included in the Corporate Human Rights Policy and are also addressed in other internal policies and standards, such as the Code of Ethical Conduct, the Sustainability Policy, the Social and Environmental Risk Standard, the Diversity and Inclusion Policy, and the Human Resources Management Policy of the Organization.

Besides our employees, we extend this commitment to all publics with whom we relate:

Bank correspondents: who sell Bradescard Credit Cards (joint ventures) have specific contractual obligations to fight child and slave labor.

Suppliers: through the Bradesco Social and Environmental Responsibility Program in the Supply Chain (PBRSA-CS), we foster respect for ethical, integrity and sustainability principles, with an emphasis on human rights and social and environmental management.

Customers and partners: especially in the granting of financing, we evaluate respect for human rights (management of social and environmental risks), according to Equator Principles.
